My go-to card
Great card, I use it all the time. Application process was fast. Started with a $8500 limit but got it raised to $10000 after 6 months.

Had this card for 2 1/2 years, apr was stupid high and limit was low. Even with perfect payment history, there was no way to improve your apr or limit.
I have a 750-765 credit and used this card for all my expenses. I got dropped after I accidentally tried to pay my card off with the wrong card.. This also means I will opt out from flying American Airlines seeing why this was the only reason I had this card…Terrible customer service to resolve this matter
bad
Credit karma said excellent odds I applied and got approved instantly. Great limit.
On 3 occasions and 3 dings later with good credit and flawless payment history im denied once again with and excellent chance of being approved. Citizens is by far the worst bank in the world by what they channel their money into and yet just keep messing up people's credit history. Save yourself the trouble and leave them alone.
Applied for card-declined, excellent CK odds 8/10/24. Month later received pre-approved offer by mail-NOT APPROVED 9/2/23. 2 Hard Inquiries: Experian &Equifax. Called numerous times; when get a LIVE PERSON still get nowhere. 3 more pre-approved Citi card offers since! Reported to Consumer Financial Protection Bureau & filing a complaint w/ Dept of Treasury Comptroller's Office (has 180pg handbook for banks/CC companies w/ specific soliciting campaign guidelines & regulations to follow. My situation is the definition of bad practices.
Great Credit chose Not to Approve
All of you whom say APR is high, limit was low, cant get an increase. Heres some advice.... If you spend on a monthly limit, and you pay off the ENTIRE balance monthly you shouldnt see any APR. If ypu make minimum or stretch out payments beyond a minth then yes youll aee an APR the Cars Company has bills also.... If you pay off your monthly balances within the time slot of 30 days for 180 days i dont see why youd not aquire an increase of some aort. And based upon your credit currently and histoey may be factored into the increase. I know some do and some dont. So instead of knocking Citi and giving them a bad rating while you spend their money, research and get to understand how things work and a little or most of the fault would fall upon your own doings vs a reputable eatablished business lending millions to people who simply dont get it. Just my two cents on what im reading. The happy ones do get it all in all.
useless
Reduced my limits even though all payments are made I. Time and above minimum due. No notification on doing this ahead of time. When asked to reduce the interest rate, I got less than 1%.
Denied and was told good chances now its another drop in score thanks CK
