Puzzling
I had the chase freedom card, requested a credit limit increase, was denied, but then applied for this card and received a $21000 credit limit

I applied to this card with a 780 credit score they sent me a letter stating that I have delinquency with my bank, Insufficient balance in deposits and investments, too few accounts on file. Which to me is a crock of crap. I don't know who credit they pulled it sure wasn't mines. So do not trust these reviews. one other thing their customer service is like the Mod untouchable I tried for 20mins to talk to a human all I got was push 1 push 3 push pound push 0 really annoying.
I applied (734 score) they wanted my bank statements. I dont trust any company with my info. I didnt give it to them. So now i have an inquiry on my credit for nothing.
I am not sure of any of you do the credit card points thing but do not get the Chase Marriot Bonvoy Visa. Hands down the worst credit card awards program there is. Their app is not intuitive, booking your points or free nights is difficult and wrought with conditions that make redemption next to impossible and points accrual and value are minimal in comparison to other programs. Just skip it and get the American Express Hilton Awards.
I initially got a "needs to be reviewed message," with a CK score of 682 and looked online and it said to call the application status line. If it says "you will be updated in 2 weeks," I guess it means your approved. Thats the message I got so it seems I have been approved. I don't know the limit or if its certain but many reviews and websites said the 2 week message means approval. I will update once I find out for sure with limit and how the rewards turns out because I have some travel purchases coming up (just joined van life)
According to CK my chance of approval was poor, don't know why their system says that... I applied and was instantly APPROVED with a high credit line. I really wanted this card for travel purposes. So glad that I took a leap of faith my score was 690 so I said "Why Not"?

I opened this card with a 720 credit score. Got an immediate approval, $18.000. What a great entry level for the Chase family. Also the chase points gained are great for getting new customers used to using Mariot.
They give you a card with a credit available based on your credit score, then email you if you don't use it or they say will close account, then when you do use the card and pay on time no late payments , after 6 mos they minimize your credit available down to almost nothing to Use, stating the account has been reviewed. Not my type of credit card company to work with.
i didn't get it through Credit karma however benefits are so great! After i spent 2500 i got a free certificate for a night, plus my points from spending, plus my anniversary! in 1 year i already have 2 free nights plus another 2 nights on points. BE AWARE,. IF YOU DO NOT PAY YOUR CARD ON TIME HIGH INTEREST WILL REALLY MESSED YOU UP.
I got a secured response from them immediately... It said, "further review was needed." My little heart almost leapt from my chest! This is the closest I've gotten to a decent card and it feels so good. My journey has just begun, but the feeling of pride and accomplishment I feel for getting a further review will last with me forever.
