It’s been 8 months since I applied for a new CC. I was given an 11k credit limit. I will mainly be using this Card for travel and to keep a small monthly spending balance to keep it in good standing. A lot of perks. Let’s see how this goes

Their customer service has degraded and making it really hard to get any claims support. It's as if they are looking for a reason to deny claims to customers than help them. I am learning this the hard way while in midst of a claim - that good customer service is more important than just points. Will probably close this out and look for another card or transfer it out to a free card.

Initially, I was informed that I can make online purchases using the card before I receive it physically. The phone representative agreed that this is how she read it as well but said that they do not offer this option despite the advertisement on the Chase website. Then I tried to use the card for the first time to purchase a new computer, my reason for getting the new card. Declined for a suspicious transaction. Third problem was the card being over the limit despite my having made a payment in full. The payment shows as having been credited online on the Chase website and yet it didn't allow me to make additional charges to the card because I was atu credit limit. When speaking with the Chase representative, she said that the information online is not reliable. Chase said that their own website does not provide reliable information about their own credit card. Three strikes and they were out. All of this was over the course of my first month. I cancelled the card as quickly as possible. Horrible service. I would always discourage everyone from using Chase.

Not writing the whole story, cause I had enough. Please dont book anything from chase travel portal, they suck big time. Horrible experiences, would not recommend anyone.

I had this card and then I downgraded to the Whole Foods Visa. Never missed late anything. When I moved out of state I called them for two months to get a replacement card after my info was stolen in Colorado. They never mailed a thing. When I paid the entire balance off to close the card the slapped a disputed charge on my balance as a goodbye gesture. Avoid this card because I know you can do better.

Apparently when you apply, you give them permission to pull multiple reports, even with the same credit bureau. I had 3 hard pulls from equifax alone. Nov 22nd, 26th, and 29th. I called in to see if they can remove them and they said they are all valid pulls and there's nothing they can do. It's like I applied for a mortgage or something. They did approve me but I will not be keeping the card or applying for anything else in the future with chase.
