Great card needs improvement

I love that it was easy to qualify for such a high limit of credit. I love that my line of credit was boosted quickly. I love that I get a bit back toward the payment although that's not exactly "cash back". The only complaint I have is when I make a payment it can sometimes take more than a week after withdrawal from my bank to post to my upgrade account balance which makes me feel like they continue to add that high interest rate over the week before the amount is applied. I think it can and should be applied immediately just as it is when I use the card, that doesn't take a week to be applied to the balance owed.

It was easy to apply and get approved. I got a personal loan AND the "credit card". I paid off both very quickly and attempted to immediately close the credit account after my final payment, felt it was not a good fit for me. Not only have they not closed the account as requested, they are still charging interest on a zero balance. I have attempted to call multiple times and have been on hold for literally HOURS with no answer. I finally sent an email demanding the account be closed. I will be filing a formal complaint with federal government oversight agency if they do not respond. Be wary folks! This company may make it easy to apply and get approval - but between the astronomical interest rates, the non- existent customer service, and the shady dealings, they are not a good company.

No Support, Held card for no reason

Blocked my card and could not use it. I called in but was then told to call a different number rather than transfer my call. Called the 2nd number and was directed to another person. Then another with NO JOY.

Was quick and easy! Received my card in less than a week!! I just love upgrade! Haven't had any problems with them... I have 3 accounts with them and never had a problem! Highly recommended!

I have had this card for 2 years. Never had a late payment as I have automatic payments. I suddenly received an email saying they are lowering my credit limit to exactly the balance owed with no explanation. It was advertised as a way to build credit but instead it will ruin it because it will show as maxed out on credit report, even though I did have $2000 credit left on it when they lowered it for no reason. Very deceiving practices. I would give it zero stars if that was an option

The card was easy to apply for and get approved. I have a loan and credit card with them. I'm now contemplating transferring the loan to another provider based on the lack of customer service to a loyal customer. I went to pay my balance off and close the credit card account before the due date of my bill and was informed that I would have to pay $20 extra in interest. I told them I'm only willing to pay what's documented. The customer service rep told me that he doesn't care if I pay or not because it's not his money. The supervisor wasn't of much help either. They are refusing to close my credit card account.

They up your interest & lower your credit

They up your interest & lower your available credit on a regular basis. You cannot see what you're being charged for monthly - your transactions. They just want you to pay every month.

Shady company, will be paying it off and closing this account. Do not even think about getting this card. Run away from this company. There are better credit cards out there.
